Patricia Grindlay and the late Sarah Allday started these successful events in the Daventry Constituency over 10 years ago.

South Northamptonshire Constituency Fundraising committee is continuing them by kind permission of wonderful people providing their homes as venues, and interesting speakers offering to talk passionately about their subjects.

Coffee and home-made shortbread are served while everyone assembles. After the speaker we enjoy a glass of wine, followed by home-made soup and fresh sandwiches in a convivial atmosphere and the inevitable raffle which raises more funds.

Normally 30 to 40 people attend and by 2.00pm everyone has departed and we leave the venue as we found it. We are always looking for new venues and suggestions for speakers. Please contact Ann Davey-Turner, Chairman of the SNC Fundraising Committee on 01295 760754.
