Pinder was first elected in 2017 as a County Councillor and re-elected in 2021 as a Unitary Councillor. Pinder is the Assistant Cabinet Member for Corporate Services and supports as Assistant Cabinet for Flooding too. Pinder is also the Association Chair for South Northamptonshire Conservatives and the Regional Chairman for the East Midlands Conservative Women's Organisation.

Outside of the Council, Pinder is studying in her final year of an MBA and works for a Global Early Years education provider and enjoys spending time with her two children, husband and new puppy Remi, outdoors.
